Take the soil sample from your raised bed. Be sure that this soil is about 6 inches below from the surface of your garden bed. Fill half cup with this soil and wet it with water, take a small amount of baking soda and sprinkle it on the soil of the cup. If you see the bubbles of baking soda it means that your soil is acidic and its pH level is under 7.
